Scandinavian Design on the Move at 3daysofdesign 2026
During this year’s 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Forming Function took part in Scandinavian Design on the Move, a joint Nordic exhibition hosted by Scandinavian Design Embassy at the residence of the Finnish Ambassador.

The exhibition Scandinavian Design on the Move brought together Finnish, Swedish and Danish brands, united by a shared passion for Nordic design. Over three days, the beautiful historic residence of the Finnish Ambassador became a meeting place for conversations, new perspectives and ideas shaping the future of contemporary Nordic design.
Curated by internationally acclaimed Finnish designer Ilkka Suppanen, Scandinavian Design on the Move highlighted innovation, craftsmanship, sustainability and circular production. Each exhibited object reflected how we live, work and interact in today’s Nordic world, together creating a story around contemporary Nordic values, materials and aesthetics.
For Forming Function, the event marked a preview of what lies ahead. We presented upcoming launches and new expressions. Designs shaped by longevity, clarity and a distinct sense of character.
Alongside new expressions and upcoming launches, we showcased our signature Nomad Collection, a colourful ecosystem of portable charging and lighting solutions. Hand cast in Sweden from 100% recycled aluminium, Nomad embodies our focus on longevity, circularity and flexibility, designed for a working life in constant motion.
Scandinavian Design on the Move became a reflection of an evolving design landscape, where tradition, innovation and new ways of living and working continue to shape the future of Nordic design.
