Restaurant Gjuterigatan is set within a former smithy in Svedala. Guided by seasonal ingredients and a straightforward approach to cooking, the restaurant combines Swedish culinary traditions with influences from further afield. Menus evolve throughout the year, shaped by produce, seasonality and the rhythm of the kitchen.

The building has been thoughtfully transformed into a contemporary restaurant while retaining much of its original character. Existing structures, exposed materials and carefully integrated interventions create a restrained architectural expression, where traces of the past remain present throughout the interior. The project has received an architectural award for transforming a former industrial building into a contemporary restaurant while preserving its character and historical identity.

Our Node wall lamps are integrated into the architecture through exposed cabling and carefully considered placement. Rather than concealing the installation, it becomes part of the interior expression. Set against a palette of black steel, concrete and muted green tones, the lighting reinforces the honest materiality of the space.
